Our apartments unit each features two private separate bedrooms, a shared bathroom and a well-equipped kitchen. Create your exciting meals with a two-plate stovetop and oven and dine while perched on a barstool at your bistro counter.

Our rooms are cosy and inspired by clean, modern design. They include sleek furnishings, including a bed, cupboards, blinds, and a desk and chair for study sessions.

The apartments include floor-to-ceiling windows and balconies for a tempting view of Table Mountain.

NEST is conveniently located in Rosebank close to private colleges and public universities in Cape Town. NEST’s surroundings include thriving local restaurants and cafes with student deals, entertainment and plenty of places to socialize with your peers.

The Jammie Shuttle is right on your doorstep, making the 15 minute trip from your modern student living space to UCT’s Upper Campus a breeze! NEST is also situated near Damelin and is only a short trip away from Varsity College and AFDA (3km from NEST). Our UWC students utilise taxis, buses and trains from the nearby Mowbray Terminus to get to class.

What is included in NEST's student accommodation?

At NEST we provide nearly everything you’ll need for your new living space! We provide water, a bed, access to DSTV & Netflix, rooftop gym, 15 gigs of speedy WiFi per month and monthly cleaning services. Check out the shopping list tab to see what you should bring with you. Basement parking and sleepovers are also available for an additional fee, just let us know!

While on-campus residences will ask you to vacate your room during the holidays, with us you can extend your lease and stay as long as you like, which may be an advantage if you’d like to explore more of the Mother City’s hotspots during your December break.

Your WiFi package can also be upgraded from 15 gigs a month to uncapped for a once-off fee of R4500 per annum.

Please note that NEST is not NSFAS accredited.

Third & Fourth floor: R 6550.00 per person per month. R 78,600.00 per person, per annum.

Fully furnished rooms come at an extra R250.00 a month.

A home-away-from-home for Cape Town students!

NEST’s building is comprised of 4 floors including a 5th floor – the rooftop! Our building is centred around a tranquil internal courtyard. Its colours are eye-catching and playful and bring a vibrant atmosphere into your living environment.

Some rooms feature scenic views of Table Mountain, while other rooms look out over the Cape Town cityscape and a few face onto our sunny, peaceful courtyard.

Coin-operated laundry centres are available on the 1st and 3rd floors, equipped with coin-operated washing machines and tumble-dryers. The 4th floor has two cosy lounges fitted with 50 inch Smart TVs with Netflix availability. Our rooftop also includes a fully equipped gym, braai area and recreational area for games.

The block, your belongings and your car (if you plan on parking underground) are completely secure as the building employs 24-hour security alongside CCTV cameras and biometric fingerprint access.
